A bowl full of fibre goodness

A bowlful of lustrous handspun suri fibre.

I bought these bowls from Peter I particularly love the shading in this blue bowl . Are we going to eat our cereal out of these? probably not but they may feature from time to time here as vessels for my yarn samples.
I'm enjoying them as visual colour treats in their own right.
See Peter's blog for the methods that produce his alchemy of colour and shape.

Doe, that is so sweet of you putting my bowls on your blog. We really Must come up and see you in your studio... and have a yarn!

Hi Jody and Peter,
Thanks for your comments, bowls are very useful in my house for holding all sorts of things, from fibre to dyestuffs etc but they're not usually as pretty as these.
I intend to weave a table runner inspired by the blue one.

Hi Doe,

Just to let you know that I have had a good firing of the wood fired kiln and have some teapots available. If you hop over to my site I have put a selection of most of them there.

Best Wishes,

Peter
